Same app. Two ways to run it.
Every feature is in both. Self-host is the whole product on a machine you own, free forever. Hosted is the same software with the servers, backups and bank plumbing run by us.
Self-host
$0 · forever
No feature gates, no seat limits
- Every feature — identical to hosted
- Bank sync your way: SimpleFIN, your own Plaid keys, or CSV
- Docker Compose on Linux, macOS or Windows
- Zero telemetry · Fair Source, Apache after two years
- Your data never leaves your machine
Free, no strings — donations keep it that way.
Hosted
$6.99/mo or $69/yr
Up to 6 connected institutions
- Every feature — identical to self-host
- Bank, card, loan and investment sync included, run by us
- Managed backups · updates handled · nothing to install
- iOS and Android apps from the stores sign straight in
- Cancel anytime from Settings — unused time refunded by the day
No card to start · then $6.99/mo or $69/yr · try the demo without signing up
App Store price. Subscribing inside the iOS app goes through Apple, and
Apple’s platform fee is added on top, so the in-app price is higher than the price
on this page. This page is the canonical price: subscribe on the web and sign in to
the app with the same account. The Android app sells nothing — it signs in to a web
subscription.
What you get, either way
- The daily verdict — on budget or over, and today’s number — by email or push
- Cash forecast, payoff scenarios and a retirement replay
- Bills and paychecks auto-detected; price creep and doubles flagged
- Monthly and annual envelopes
- Investment holdings, liabilities and real net worth
- Business entities and Schedule C, kept separate
- Import hub for Mint, Quicken, YNAB and CSV history
- iOS and Android apps
One connection is one bank, card or brokerage login, however many accounts it holds. Outgrow the hosted cap and you can self-host the whole thing free with your own aggregator — nobody gets locked out of their own money.
